The launch of the MAPS call - Multilateral Academic Projects within the Research Program

Researchers from Switzerland and their colleagues from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania and Hungary can implement Joint Multilateral Research Projects, of interest to the parties involved, through the funding instrument - MAPS: Multilateral Academic Projects, which was developed through the International Research Cooperation Program. Project proposals involve a partnership between an institution from Romania together with an institution from Switzerland and at least one of the eligible host institutions from the other countries involved in the program (Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland and Hungary).

The MAPS competition is organized by SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation), as Program Component Operator, together with UEFISCDI - Support Measure Partner and the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization (MCID), as Research Program Operator from Romania.

The deadline for the submission of project proposals by the Swiss project manager on the mySNSF platform is  1.07.2024. The platform for submitting the requested documents to the project manager in Romania will be available at www.uefiscdi-direct.ro, starting from 8.04.2024.
